A disease is an unfavourable condition of physiological state of the body. There are two types of diseases:
1.Acute diseases
2. Chronic diseases
Acute diseases:- These are diseases that show signs and symptoms on time when they come in contact with the body.They can be easily treated e.g malaria, headache, cough, cold.
Chronic diseases:- These are diseases that neither show signs and symptoms on time when they come in contact the body. They cannot be easily treated but managed.They can be in the body for the period of 5 to 10 years without showing any sign.But when they are aggravated they can lead to death.e.g diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, HIV, Cancer, hypo tension, cardiovascular diseases.
